    When Foster A. Reynolds left the HN White Company in 1935, he took many of the ideas that he and others had developed over the years there to use in his new company. One of the concepts was using a bell made from solid Sterling silver. White had been using these since the late 1920s and Reynolds continued this up until their sale to RMC at the end of 1960.
